Pets Here On Stray Hold

On occasion, lost pets may find themselves doing their stray hold here , rather than at the county shelter. Those pets are shown here , and if you see your pet, please CALL US IMMEDIATELY. Stray hold is 5 days , and we want every lost pet to find their loving family. If your pet is not spayed / neutered or up to date with vaccines, please know, as per statute , you will have to pick up your pet from Animal Care and Control.

If you have lost a pet, please contact Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control at (561) 233-1200  to report your pet missing. On their website is a page called SNAP, where you can upload your pets info and photo. As a result , many people view it daily. We suggest that you physically go to the shelter daily. Animal Control  does not always have staff to match the found and missing.  Also post your pet on PeggyAdams.org  lost and found site , and check with them regularly. They  hold many strays for the county  at their facility
