Hello and good morning everyone I would like to introduce myself my name is #AngelBPFF..I would like to tell you my story....I was adopted several years ago by a lovely woman....my Mom and I became best friends...I was her companion...and I loved her dearly....well as we all know that when humans get older...sometimes they can’t live on their own anymore...and she wasn’t doing well....sooo she was brought to an assisted living facility....thankfully I was able to go with her...I watched her every day...and I knew in my heart...that she wasn’t feeling good...she has a wonderful caregiver...and she and my Moms family decided that it would be best for my Mom to move in with her daughter who lived very very far away....my Mom was very sad cause she knew that she wasn’t able to take me with her...so her caregiver called many different organizations... to see if anyone could help her find me a place to stay and hopefully find a new home...they were heartbroken...no one expected this to happen...but what could they do?  They were resigned to the fact that I may have to go to a shelter...and then...there was one more call to make...and she called aunt Liz at Barky Pines...she told her the story about my Mom....who loved me with all her heart...but was no long able to care for me...and aunt Liz felt a tug in her heart...because she understood their situation...and she said yes...yes she would take me into her rescue...and she did...I had to say goodbye to my Mom....the woman who saved my life...the best friend I ever had...and her caregiver drove me out to Barky Farms...I was greeted by aunt Liz and uncle Steve...they said that I was absolutely beautiful and that made me happy in my heart...they were kind and compassionate from the moment we met and I knew that Mom’s caregiver did a wonderful thing by contacting aunt Liz...I knew that they would take wonderful care of me...they brought me to a building called Rita’s Cat House where I was greeted by soooooo many pups...young and old...and cats...and kittens too....everyone seemed very healthy and happy and I felt a sense of relief..knowing I would be cared for...all of their rescues get along like one big happy family...we all share a similar story...some were strays...some were surrendered....we all have that in common...and know we all know that there is hope for us all...that this family...will do everything they can to keep us happy and healthy...and help find us loving forever homes....I am a domestic short hair...I am 6 years old I am neutered and up to date on shots...I am a little shy at first...but very loving and affectionate...if you or anyone you know is looking for a beautiful young lady I may be the answer to your prayers...please don’t hesitate to ask....well I better go lots to do and see...thank you for reading my story....thank you for caring...and especially for sharing...your friend...Angel...meow meow

Hello and good morning everyone I would like to introduce myself....my name is #BunnyBPFF and I have a very sad story to share with you...well I had a family once...I knew what love is once...then one...my family discussed getting rid of me...I couldn’t believe my ears...they decided to surrender me to Animal Care and Control...my heart was broken...I couldn’t imagine what would happen to me...they drove me to ACC and  dropped me off......they didn’t even say goodbye to me...they didn‘t seem to care how I was feeling....they just left me there...and went on their way....the nice ladies behind the counter felt so bad for me...they were shocked that I was being surrendered....then...they processed me and gave me a necklace with numbers on it...the good thing was.. I already had been spayed and I also had a microchip... my family must have cared enough about me at one time...they said I was going to see their doctor to have a check up...they took some of my blood and came back and told me that I have those bad worms in my heart...heartworm positive they called it...my heart sank even further...what would happen to me now...is that something that can be cured I wondered.......well they told me not to worry that they were going to send out a rescue request and that someone would be able to help me...and as you know that someone was aunt Liz...she said yes she could and yes she would and the other day...her sister aunt Mary drove to ACC to pick me up...she had a warm welcoming smile on her face and said...I was absolutely beautiful...that made me feel so good...she told me.... she was going to drive me out to the country to her families farm...where I would be taken wonderful care of...and that they would get me the medical attention I need for my nasty heart worms...I was so relieved at that moment...and when she picked me up...I felt safe and secure...we drove out to the country...and when we arrived...I saw so many happy feathered friends flying around...cows playing with a little piglet named Olive...I was greeted by aunt Liz...she had a warm loving smile on her face too...and she and aunt Mary brought me out to Rita’s Cat House where I will be staying  with other rescues....a few of my new friends were outside enjoying the beautiful day...and they seemed happy to meet me....tails wagging and big smiles on their faces.....aunt Liz had a cozy bed all set up for me with a soft blanket to lay on...a delicious bowl of crunchies...and I felt very comfy right away...they let me settle in and take a nap...it was a very emotional day for me...and when they came back a little while later...my tail was wagging like crazy...then I got to meet uncle Steve....he smiled at me and I melted...he has that same warm loving look about him...thank goodness this family answered the call from ACC...they love each and every one of us as much as they do their own...I had a good nights rest...and the next morning when I woke up....aunt Liz was right there to let us all out and feed us breakfast...I’ve made a lotta friends in two days...and my heart is full of gratitude...for this chance to get rid of my nasty heartworms...and when I’m better...find a loving forever home...I am only 2 years old...and have a lifetime of love to give....I am a Chihuahua Papillion mix...I am up to date on all my shots including my Rabies Vaccine...if you or anyone you know is interested please don’t hesitate to ask aunt Liz...I would prefer a home without little children...thank you for reading my story...thank you all for caring...and especially for sharing...your new friend...Bunny...woof woof

Hello and good afternoon everyone I would like to introduce myself...my name is #NapoleonBPFF and I would like to share my story with you....well when I was a young I was adopted....I lived with my family for almost 8 years then my Dad wasn’t doing well and he needed to surrender me...my heart was breaking...but I understood...he wasn’t able to care for me anymore...sometimes these things happen...he brought me to Animal Care and Control.....and after a short while there...I was adopted again... they had no idea...that I can be... a little food aggressive...they didn’t understand me at all...and they brought me back...the very next day....I was very upset...that they didn’t even care enough to give me another chance...they just dropped me off and left...I was brought inside where they keep the other dogs...they put me in a kennel...at least they ...were willing to give me a chance...they sent out a rescue request to see if anyone would be able to take me in...and that someone was aunt Liz...she and her family have experience with  pups who have some food aggressive issues...she said yes she would and yes she could...and the other day...I got to meet her sister...aunt Mary...she didn’t seem to mind that I had gotten a little snippy before...she said she was going to drive me out to her families farm...and that I would make friends with their rescues........she finished signing me out...and I said goodbye to the  friends I had made while I there....they had the patience to help me...they cared enough about me....and I was truly thankful to them all....they wished me well...and off we went.....aunt Mary let me sit in the front seat....and after a minute...I climbed over to her lap...I welcomed her arms around me...and I felt safe and secure...we took that long drive out to the country...and when we arrived...I saw so many happy farm animals playing...ducks...chickens...geese...two cows...and a big piglet named Oliver...they were having so much fun...I was so happy in my heart to see them all...then I got to meet aunt Liz...she welcomed me with a warm loving smile...and said not to worry...that they were going to take wonderful care of me...and someday soon...a family would fall in love with me...and want to make me their forever pup...they brought me over to Rita’s Cat House where I meet all their rescues...older ones...young ones...old cats...and young ones...everyone of them welcomed me with tails wagging...aunt Liz had a cozy bed and a warm blanket all ready for me...a delicious bowl of crunchies and a fresh bowl of water...they let me settle in a while and get familiar with my new surroundings...I rested a bit...and when they came back a little while later...I went outside in the yard and walked around..I am so blessed to have this opportunity...I am so thankful to my Barky Pines family for welcoming me into their home...and especially into their hearts...they understand that not all pups are the same...some of us prefer to be left alone while we eat....I am a 10 year old short haired....Chihuahua.....I weigh 9 lbs...I am neutered...I am up to date on all my shots including my rabies vaccine...I also have a microchip...I am hoping to find a forever family that doesn’t have small children...a family who will give me space when I’m eating...a family...who will love me forever and ever...if you or anyone you know...may be interested in me...please don’t hesitate to ask...well I better get going...lots to do today...thank you for reading my story...thank you all for caring...and especially...for sharing...your friend...Napoleon....woof woof

Hello and good evening everyone I would like to introduce myself my name is #MartiniBPFF I would to share my story with you...I like sooo many other dogs...was surrendered by my family...I am 7 years old...and was terrified by the sound of that word...I had no idea what was going to happen next...it was due to circumstances beyond their control...I didn't understand any of it...but I knew that something was about to happen...well my Mom contacted aunt Liz from Barky Pines...and asked her if she could help her...help me...and aunt Liz talked to her for quite sometime...and the decision was made...I was going to go to Barky Farms...the home of Barky Pines...well 2 days ago...I was driven out to the country...and as I said my goodbyes to my Mom...she had tears in her eyes...and it hurt me deeply to see her sooo sad...aunt Liz assured her I would be fine at the farm...and that she would do all that she could to help find me a home....then aunt Liz and aunt Mary...brought me to meet my new roommates....when she opened the door and a bunch of little ones like me came outside....everyone was smiling...and sniffing...and although I was nervous...I could see how happy they all are...I realized that there are soooo many pups...in the same situation as me...regardless of the reasons...we were surrendered...we all know that this is the place for us to be...to make friends...and feel the love that this family has for all their rescue pups...when I met uncle Steve...aunt Liz's husband...he said I was very very handsome and that made me very happy in my heart...although I don't know where my future will lead me...I know that I am welcomed here...and that...is my blessing...this family welcomed me into their home...never met me before...and yet...they know that we are sad...and the love in their eyes for us all...makes it all better...I have to go see their lady pup doctor and catch up on my vaccines...and once I'm all done there...I will be ready to find my forever home...as I said earlier I am 7 years old...I am neutered...I'm not sure of my weight yet probably 8 or 9 lbs...I am nervous at first...but I'm starting to warm up to everyone...I hope to meet a family someday soon...who will welcome me into their homes...and especially...their hearts...until then...I will be here with my new family...here at Barky Farms...well I better go now...lots to do and see...thank you for reading my story...thank you for caring...and especially...for sharing...your friend Martini...woof woof© BPFF®

Hello and good afternoon everyone I would like to formerly introduce myself my name is #GingerBPFF...I am as you know one of the new pups of Barky Pines...and I would like to share my story with you....well I had wandered off my property a while back...and I kept on walking till I was completely lost...I walked across the street...and was hit by a car...yup...I wobbled away...and laid on the wet grass...my leg was killing me...and I was very very sad...to know I was all alone in this big world.....thank goodness someone saw me...and decided to come to help....they gently picked me up...and put me in their car...they saw I had no identification on me...so they did what your supposed to do...and they took me to Animal Care and Control...when we got there...they were all so nice to me...they took my picture...and gave me a necklace with numbers on it....and brought me right in to see the doctor...I was cut up on my legs and feet...and my bad leg was killing me....they gave me some medicine for the pain...and they wrapped my leg up so I couldn’t bend it...I was beginning to wonder...what will ever happen to me now...who’s ever gonna want a young girl like this...but they assured me there...as if they knew what I was thinking...that they were going to send out a rescue and surely someone would want to help me...get the medical attention I so needed...they contacted several places...and can you guess who answered the call?  Yessss it was aunt Liz with Barky Pines...she talked back and forth with them and it was decided that if Dr. Hansen could look at my x-rays and see whether or not I needed surgery...then they would know if I could go to Barky Farms...sooo the other day...I got to meet aunt Mary...she is aunt Liz’s sister....she drove to ACC to pick me up and take me to see the doctor...I instantly thanked her by giving her sweet puppy kisses...she seemed to like it cause she wouldn’t stop smiling at me...she slowly walked me out to her car...and gently placed me inside...we drove to see Dr. Hansen...and when he came in...he said I needed to have my surgery as soon as possible...well that wasn’t what I wanted to hear...that’s for sure...but when he spoke with aunt Mary...they decided to call aunt Liz...he told her...what was going on and that he would do whatever it took to help them help me...I was so moved at that very moment to know that so many people cared about me...my heart was ready to pound out of my chest...aunt Liz said she would do something called a fund raiser to get the money needed for my surgery...and Dr. Hansen was very pleased to hear that...they decided to do my surgery the following tuesday...so I knew that someday soon...the pain would start to go away...it was time to leave and head to the farm...I said goodbye to the good doctor...and off aunt Mary and I went to the farm...it was a beautiful ride out to the country...and when we arrived...I finally got to meet aunt Liz and uncle Steve...she had such a warm loving look in her eyes when she saw me...and told me not to worry...that they were all going to take wonderful care of me...and one day soon...before you know it...I will be good as new...and I believed her...she had a cozy place for me to rest...with  warm bed...and a delicious bowl of food...I felt so safe and secure at that moment...and knew no harm would ever come to me again...my heart was so full of love for this family...who decided without hesitation...to help a complete stranger...what a blessing...I rested a few days...then surgery day came...aunt Mary drove me all the way to Dr. Hansen’s office in another town...and she was sad to say goodbye to me I know it...cause it’s scary when your children have to have surgery...but she assured me that Dr. Hansen would fix me all up...and off I went...to get my rest...the next day...I had my surgery...and everything went great...Dr. H. said I’ll be better before you know it...I must get plenty of rest...and take my medicine like a good girl he said I am...and that’s just what I plan to do...well I better go back to rest a bit...thank you all for reading my story...thank you for caring...and especially...for sharing...your friend...Ginger...woof woof

P.S. I had the pin removed from my leg the other day...and what a wonderful Christmas present to be able to walk again...on all fours...I am truly blessed by all the support from my Barky Pines family...and friends like you...woof woof

Hello and good afternoon everyone I would like to introduce myself.....my name is #CocoBPFF...and I would like to share my story with you...I used to have a family....my sister and I were kept in a crate together... while our Mom was at work....in fact....we spent most of our days and nights in that crate..thank goodness we had each other....we don’t understand why we were treated this way....and couldn’t stand another day with all these mats in our hair....it was... soooo hard to scratch ...cause our nails would get stuck in our knots....you have no idea how hard it was for us to live like this.....even to do my business was an ordeal..as you can probably imagine...then...things changed in our life...and Mom needed to move...and she couldn’t take us with her...we didn’t know what was going on.....but we both knew that something was about to happen... she started making phone calls to different agencies...and then she made a call to a place called Barky Pines...she spoke to aunt Liz...and told her what was going on...aunt Liz asked her to send pictures....and when she got a look at us...she knew in her heart...she needed to help us..next thing you know....we are brought out to our Mom‘s car...where she put us in our crate....and....we were driven out to Barky Farms...we were greeted by aunt Liz...who helped get us out of our crate...the look on her face...was of shock and disbelief...then we met her sister aunt Mary...and she too...couldn’t believe how neglected we were...they were so kind and compassionate to me and my sister...then we met uncle Steve....he smiled a warm gentle smile...that made us feel very welcome....they talked with our Mom a few minutes...then...she thanked aunt Liz for taking us...and walked right out of the office..that was it...she didn‘t even say goodbye to us.....no tears...no nothing....stunned and hurt...we both stood there in the office looking at each other and wondered where she had gone...and was she coming back to take us home...aunt Liz told us both...that we were going to be staying here at their rescue...and that we would be well taken care of...sadly we haven’t had a visit to the doctor in a long time...and we desperately needed to see a groomer as soon as possible...she welcomed us in to her home...without hesitation...we felt ashamed of the way we looked...even though it wasn‘t our faults...... and our aunts seemed to sense we felt that way...cause they said we were beautiful...underneath our matted fur...were beautiful girls...that gave us both warm feelings in our hearts...we are happy girls...with sweet personalities.. we are here...in the loving home of Barky Farms...our worries are over....no more living in a crate.....aunt Liz walked us back to Rita’s Cat House where we got to see more of their property...the cows...chickens...ducks...geese...and a little piglet named Oliver...all playing and running around...as we got closer to Rita’s Cat House a few of our new roommates came running to the gate to greet us...none of them seemed to mind....we were both a mess...they welcomed us with wagging tails...and happy smiles...we went inside where aunt Liz had set up a cozy bed for us...fresh warm blankets...and delicious bowls of crunchies...we settled in and took a rest...and later on...we went outside and ran around getting to know our new friends....everyone was so friendly....when it was time for bed...we were a little sad...and missed our Mom...but when we woke up this morning and aunt Liz came to let us all out...seeing everyone run to her...made us feel so good...there is a lotta love here...and we are so happy to be part of ....then...we ran outside...and it felt sooo good to be on the grass...something we rarely got to do....we’ve had it rough...that’s for sure...but we are both very happy to be here right now...we are both going to the groomers today....and can’t wait to share the transformation with you....we will be available for adoption in a few days.. we need to get our vaccines and we will be spayed......we are both so very grateful to aunt Liz...for answering that phone call...it’s a blessing to be cared for...it’s been a long time since we‘ve felt this way.......I am a Schnauzer mix....I am 7 years old and weigh about 15 lbs...I am super sweet...if you or anyone you know...is looking for a sweet older pup...I may be the answer to your prayers....well I better get going... got a busy day ahead......thank you for reading our story....thank you all for caring...and especially...for sharing...your new friend Coco... woof woof  #BPFF💕

Hello and good morning everyone...I would like to introduce myself...my name is #LulaTulaluhBPFF...I would like to share my story with you....well no one knows really if I wandered off my property...or I was abandoned by my family....I had recently had a litter and I was worried about my babes...and who would care for them...if they didn’t have their Momma...I walked and walked and didn’t know where I was...I was getting so tired...my heart was aching for my babes...then a woman saw me....and she knew she needed to help me...I was very skiddish...and I was playing hard to get....she spent a long time...trying to make me comfortable enough to trust her...when I gave up running from her....she gently picked me up...and saw right away....that I must have recently... had a litter of puppies... because I still had Mother’s milk...the look of compassion in her eyes...gave me a warm feeling inside...something I haven’t felt in a long time...she held me in her arms...and I felt safe...something I longed to feel again...she told me she was going to take me to Animal Care and Control...that she knew a woman named aunt Suzy who worked there...and they would all take care of me... that they would scan me and see if I have a microchip....and if they could locate my family....when we arrived...they took my picture...gave me a necklace with numbers on it...and when they scanned me for a chip...no surprise...I didn’t have one...they brought me in to see the doctor...and  while I was in there.... I got to meet aunt Suzy...she had the same look of compassion in her eyes....and again...I had a warm feeling inside my heart....she said she would take me home with her...while I was on stray hold...and she did...she welcomed me into her home...she made me feel safe...and loved...she’s got a big heart.. she said once my stray hold was over the rescue request would go out...and can you guess who answered that call?  It was aunt Liz from Barky Pines...she said yes...yes she could and yes she would...when my stray hold was over I was taken to the doctor...to get my vaccines...and get fixed...I didn’t even know I was broken...but they told me not to worry that all pups and kitties have to be fixed...so I didn’t worry after that....afterwards....I got to rest all day...and that afternoon I met aunt Liz’s sister aunt Mary...she came to pick me up...she signed me out and when she first saw me...she had a warm loving look on her face...she told me not to worry...she was going to take me out to her families farm...where I would be taken wonderful care of...I said goodbye to aunt Suzy and thanked her with kisses...and off we went for that long ride out to the country...when we arrived...I heard the happy songs of all types of feathered friends...cows running around...ducks ...geese...chickens....and a little piglet named Oliver...they all seem so happy I thought...and I relaxed a little bit...we drove over to Rita’s Cat House...and that’s when I met aunt Liz...she had that same warm loving look in her eyes...and I knew I had nothing to fear...when I was brought inside the yard....I was greeted by so many happy faces...they sniffed and wagged their tails at me...and I felt so welcomed...aunt Liz had a cozy bed all set up for me...with a warm blanket and a delicious bowl of crunchies...she said I should relax and settle in...and I did just that...when she came back a little while later...I went outside to meet the rest of the gang...I was surprised to see Momma (Carole) with 6 babes...and Chrissy who had had pups not that long ago...I felt such a rush of emotion...knowing this family would welcome momma’s and babes into their home...they love each and every one of their rescues...and when I met uncle Steve later on....he too...had that same loving smile..when it was time for bed...I said my prayers...for my babes...that they know...that I would never have abandoned them...that I love them ...with all my heart...that when they cry...I pray someone will comfort them...it breaks my heart to know...I will never see them grow big and strong...but...I know...that I must take care of myself now...and I know...that being here at Barky Farms...I have nothing to worry about...that this family will do as promised and find each of us loving forever homes...with families who will cherish their pups...and love us for the rest of our lives..I am a 2 year old Chihuahua mix...I weigh 12 pounds...I am up to date on all my vaccines including my rabies vaccine...I have a microchip...I am a little shy at first...but I warm up quickly...if you or anyone you know is looking for a sweet girl...I may be the answer to your prayers...until that day comes...I will be here at the farm...making friends...well I better go...have a wonderful day...thank you for reading my story...thank you all for caring...and especially for sharing...your new friend Lula Talulah...woof woof #BPFF
